Properties:
Fulfils the natural care requirements of wood. Maintains diffusion properties, acts antistatically and protects against damp. Prevents environmental influences (especially during the hot period) from attacking wood. PNZ-ANTIK-WACHS (PNZ-ANTIQUE-WAX) protects your wood, confers natural beauty and a well-maintained appearance.
Areas of use:
For restoration, protection and care of antiques, such as furniture, sculptures, picture frames etc. To restore treated woods.
To treat and maintain all exposed woods, such as furniture, shelving, wooden ceilings, wall panels, beams, railings, sculptures and cork.
PNZ-ANTIK-WACHS is extremely well suited for the treatment of stained woods.
Usage:
Apply PNZ-ANTIK-WACHS evenly with a lint-free rag or soft brush. Once it has dried well, the surface can be polished to a shine with a rag or brush in the direction of the grain.
A second treatment, as described, may be necessary for strongly absorbent surfaces.
Pretreatment with colourless PNZ-HOLZ-WACHS (PNZ-WOOD-WAX) is advantageous, as the resistance of the wood against all liquids (such as beer, wine, water) is significantly increased.
Apply colourless PNZ-HOLZ-WACHS (PNZ-WOOD-WAX) with a paintbrush or rag; remove excess wax after approx. 5-10 mins. using a damp cloth in the direction of the grain.
Apply PNZ-ANTIK-WACHS after drying, as described.
Pine coloured PNZ-ANTIK-WACHS enhances the natural colour of caustic stripped or stained woods, resulting in a very beautiful surface.

Note:
Painted furniture should be tested for colourfastness on an inconspicuous area, as there can be smearing of ?new? paints.
PNZ-ANTIK-WACHS can also be liquefied in a warm water bath to achieve effective impregnation.
