Area of use:
For preliminary coating of all interior timbers. Strongly water repellent, open-pored, deeply penetrating impregnating primer for very heavily used surfaces, such as furniture, worktops, wooden ceilings in damp rooms, interior wood and cork floors and for biological surface hardening of surfaces, which are to be further treated with PNZ-ÖL- HEISSWACHS (PNZ-OIL-HOT-WAX).
PNZ-HARTÖL-GRUND L (PNZ-HARD-OIL-PRIMER L) can e.g. be coloured with MIXOL universal colouring pastes.
Properties:
PNZ-HARTÖL-GRUND L is an impregnation and primer based on natural oils, manufactured from renewable raw materials, such as linseed oil, soya oil, rapeseed oil, safflower oil and lead-free drying agents. PNZ-HARTÖL-GRUND L conforms to DIN 53 160 and DIN EN 71 (colourfastness when exposed to perspiration and saliva, toy safety).
Usage:
PNZ-HARTÖL-GRUND L may be applied by spraying, tolling, dipping or pouring. A second primer coat is recommended for soft woods and cork. The moisture of the wood must be below 18%. Light intermediate sanding with a 180-240 grain should take place prior to each primer coat. The drying time is approx. 12 hours, but any excess should be removed after a few minutes to avoid patches of uneven shine.
Subsequent treatment with PNZ-ÖL-HEISSWACHS (PNZ-OIL-HOT-WAX), PNZ-BIO-FUSSBODENWACHS (PNZ-FLOOR-WAX) or PNZ-MÖBEL-WACHS (PNZ-FURNITURE-WAX).
Coverage:
1 litre is sufficient for 13 to 17 m2 per coat, depending on the absorbency of the surface. (More precise values should be ascertained on the object itself.)
Storage:
Cool and frost-free, reseal opened containers firmly.
Cleaning:
Clean tools with PNZ-SPEZIALVERDÜNNUNG (PNZ-SPECIAL-THINNER).
