Properties:
PNZ-HOLZ-LASUR (PNZ-WOOD-VARNISH) is a weatherproof, strongly water repellent
and environmentally-friendly coat with high UV stability and extreme durability.
Based on natural oils, solvent-free, drop suppressant, open-pored, moisture
regulating and odourless. PNZ-HOLZ-LASUR is available as a clear and covering
coat.
Areas of use:
For all interior and exterior wood, such as windows, shutters, fascia boards,
trelliswork, doors, fences, tongue and groove boards, balconies, garage doors,
garden furniture and greenhouses. Also suitable for beehives, stables and as
toy paint. Excellent renovating coat.
Usage:
Brush, roll or spray. Wood must be clean, dry (under 18%) and free of grease.
Old, stable coats may usually be covered.
Pretreat with PNZ-IMPRÄGNIER-GRUND (PNZ-IMPREGNATION-PRIMER) if there exists
the danger of fungus.
Stir PNZ-HOLZ-LASUR well (working temperature above + 8°C). To achieve the
best possible durability and UV protection, 2-3 coats should be applied; interior
1-2 coats. Only use colourless together with a coloured coat for exterior applications,
as colourless does not offer adequate UV protection.
Varnish is milky in the can, but dries to the stated colour.
All colours may be mixed with each other. On light coats, protrusion of colour
from wood components (also from impregnated wood) may appear. These patches
of penetration can be isolated on wood and cork (e.g. oak, larch, cedar, teak
etc.) using PNZ-ISOLIER-GRUND (PNZ-BARRIER-PRIMER). It has different effects on different surfaces. Trial coats are therefore essential.
Drying time:
8-12 hours, to a blocking surface, depending on temperature and humidity.
Dust dry after approx. 1 hour. May also be reapplied when dry after 3-5 hours.
The drying time may be prolonged under damp weather conditions.
Coverage:
For a varnish coat: 1 litre for approx. 15 m2 per coat
For a covering coat: 1 litre for approx. 12 m2 per coat
Storage:
Cool, but frost-free, seal can tightly.
Cleaning:
Clean tools with soap and water immediately after use. See colour chart.

Note:
When using several containers with different lot numbers, they should be mixed
together in a large container!
Contents:
Enhancing natural oils, soya and linseed oil, water, damar, methylcellulose,
(in coloured varnish: iron oxide pigments, titan white), zirconium and cobalt
soaps.
Certification:
GGVS (German law on the transport of dangerous goods by road) and VbF (German
regulations on combustible liquids) do not apply. German regulations on industrial
substances do not apply.
Container sizes:
0.25 litres, 0.75 litres, 2.5 litres, 10 litres, 30 litres and larger.
