Wood Care Essentials

The modular Wood Care Essentials system makes shopping more attractive for customers while supporting retailers with their structural challenges.

Few product innovations, declining margins, high capital tied up in stock, warehousing costs and falling customer footfall – this is the vicious cycle that the specialist building materials trade currently faces. At the same time, retailers are struggling with the dramatically changed customer needs in an era of digital shopping. The modular Wood Care Essentials system addresses these problems by making the hardware store shopping experience more attractive for customers while also supporting retailers with their structural challenges.

Analogue or digital? Both, of course!

Through the novel integration of the digital customer journey directly at the point of sale, Wood Care Essentials addresses key retail challenges and combines, for the customer, the advantages of physical in-store shopping with the conveniences of the digital world.

The Range

Everything you need for wood, in one shelf. A completely new concept for your paint department. For interior and exterior. Translucent and opaque, natural look to colourful, from the chopping board to the wooden deck… everything in one shelf that customers can navigate and understand. And structured to make optimal use of space.

The Touchpoints

Physical:

Three clearly arranged shelf units form the centrepiece of the modular in-store system and display the fast-moving products for the protection and care of wood.

Digital:

Colours that are out of stock, individual container sizes or special products no longer need to be reordered in-store and collected in person. They can be ordered online and delivered to the customer's home.

Two systems are available as alternatives.

The customer scans at the shelf using their own phone and interacts via the device's built-in browser.

PDS
