Usage and Application
Application/Use
  • The substrate has to be clean, dry and free of grease.
  • Processing temperature (including drying) above + 8°C. Wood humidity < 18%. Air humidity < 60%.
  • Drying takes 12-36 hours (depending on dilution).
  • Apply sparingly.
  • Pigmentation is necessary to guarantee protection against graying in exteriors.
  • Treat softwood (risk of fungi) in exteriors with an appropriate impregnation primer before applying the first coat.
  • Works differently depending on surface characteristics. Apply a trial coat first.

On wood: Apply Linseed Oil Varnish evolution undiluted using a brush or cloth. Collect excess material after approximately 30 minutes using a lint-free cloth (skip this step when applying in exteriors). In exteriors multiple coats are required. 1st coat: 50% dilution (interim sanding when dry); 2nd coat: approximately 30% dilution; 3rd coat: approximately 10% dilution, avoid layer formation. For application on plaster, masonry or clinker: dilute Linseed Oil Varnish evolution 1:1 with an appropriate thinner.
