Usage and Application
Application/Use
  • Wooden surface must be dry, clean and free of dust and grease.
  • A prior treatment using an appropriate transparent oil increases resistance against all liquids like beer, wine or water.
  • Processing temperature (including drying) above + 8°C. Wood humidity < 18%. Air humidity < 60%.
  • Works differently depending on surface characteristics. A trial coat is recommended.
  • Test color fastness of painted furniture on a discreet spot.
  • Antique Wax can be melted in a warm water bath for use as a liquid wax treatment.

Apply Antique Wax thinly and evenly using a lint-free cloth or soft brush. The surface can be polished along the grain using a cloth or brush when it is completely dry. Consider a second treatment if the surface is highly absorbent. Antique Wax can be used to restore the natural color of wood that was stripped or treated with spent lye.
