PNZ Beeswax Balm

Natural protection against moisture and dirt for your wood indoors. Anti-static and well suited as a refresher. Sustainably produced with regional raw materials.

Suitable for

Wood ceilings, cladding, shelves, furniture, cork and antique wooden objects (furniture, timber frames, carvings). Beeswax Balm is anti-static and offers protection against moisture and soiling. Used as surface finish treated objects acquire a sophisticated look. Beeswax Balm is also suitable to renew protective varnish or to shine dull varnished surfaces.

Product Characteristics
Consumption

Approximately 60-70 ml/m², meaning 1 liter of Beeswax Balm is enough for approximately 15 m² per application. The exact amount can be determined by testing.

Storage

Cool, but frost free.

Cleaning

Clean tools with thinner or turpentine substitute immediately after use.

Not suitable for damp locations and highly strained surfaces. Safety data sheet available on request. Wear a dust mask when sanding. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Read carefully and follow all instructions. May produce and allergic reaction. Usage and Application
Application/Use
  • The substrate has to be clean and free of residue.
  • Processing temperature (including drying) above + 8°C. Wood humidity < 18%. Air humidity < 60%. Works differently depending on surface characteristics. Apply a trial coat first.

Apply Beeswax Balm thinly and evenly using a brush or lint-free cloth. Keep using brush even when thickened. Remove excess balm after approximately 15-30 minutes by wiping along the grain with a soft cloth. For a slightly glossy surface polish after 3-4 hours. A second treatment, applied the same as the first, provides extra saturation.
