Suitable for

Wood in interior and exterior areas such as walls, ceilings, doors, moldings, beams, windows, garden sheds, etc. Especially appropriate for furniture and children's toys. Hardwax Paint evolution is suitable for all common types of wood, chipboard and MDF, as well as re-coating darkened wood surfaces. Hardwax Paint evolution is a moisture-regulating surface product. Our product can be used as transparent coat. Treated surfaces are highly water-repellent and resistant against common foodstuff and household chemicals.

Product Characteristics

Consumption

Approximately 25 - 50 ml/m², meaning 1 liter of Hardwax Paint evolution is enough for up to 40 m² per application, depending on the kind of wood and surface.

Storage

Cool, but frost free.

Cleaning

Clean tools with thinner or turpentine substitute immediately after use.

Refined natural oils such as soybean and sunflower oil, isoaliphates, microcrystalline waxes, additives, lead-free drying agents and pigments.

Safety data sheet available on request. Wear a dust mask when sanding. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Read carefully and follow all instructions. When using multiple containers with different batch numbers mix them together in a bigger container. Dispose of contents / container according to local / regional / national / international guidelines. ASN: 080111. EU limit for this product (A/f): 700 g/l. This product contains max. 560 g/l VOC.

Usage and Application

Application/Use

Surface has to be clean, dry and free of dust and grease (consider sanding).
Application temperature (incl. drying) above 8 °C. Moisture content < 18%. Humidity < 60%.
Works differently depending on surface characteristics. Apply a trial coat first.
Stir contents well before and during use.
Mend holes and cracks with a suitable repair paste.
Hardwax Paint evolution is a transparent coat.

Hardwax Paint evolution can be processed manually or by machine. Thinly apply the first coat with a brush, foam roller or paint scraper. Depending on desired look, remove excess after 10 minutes. Let dry for 5 - 8 hours, while ventilating well. Apply second coat exactly as the first. The surface can be polished when completely dry (approx. 24 hours) to increase the durability. For strained surfaces (such as table tops or shelves) it is advisable to apply a thin, transparent finish.
