A can full of durable anti-slip protection for your wood indoors and outdoors. Sustainably produced with regional raw materials.

Suitable for

Slide protection to reduce danger of sliding for any kind of wood. Especially well suited for treated wood that gets slick with wetness, moss, algae or lichens, as well as mineral surfaces and stairs. The product guarantees a highly resistant micro structure surface finish on the surfaces mentioned. Skid resistance category R9 in accordance with the German Institute for Standardization DIN 51130.

Product Characteristics
Consumption

Approximately 100-165 ml/m², meaning 1 liter of Anti-Slip is enough for approximately 7-10 m² per application, depending on the kind of wood and surface (planed or rough-sawn). Corrugated wood can increase consumption (factor 2-3).

Storage

Cool, but frost free.

Cleaning

Clean tools with warm water and soap immediately after use.

Refined natural oils such as soybean and sunflower oil, water, copolymer, lead- and cobalt-free drying agents, in-can preservatives (1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one (BIT) / zinc pyrithione; advice for isothiazolinones allergics +49 (0)8465-173825).

Important notices

Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one. May produce an allergic reaction. To avoid skin contact use suitable gloves (nitrile). Wear a dust mask when sanding. Safety data sheet available on request. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Read carefully and follow all instructions. Do not use the shades „natural“ or „transparent“ outdoors by themselves as they offer no UV protection. When using multiple containers with different batch numbers mix them together in a bigger container. Dispose of contents / container according to local / regional / national / international guidelines. ASN: 080112. EU limit for this product (A/f): 130 g/l. This product contains a maximum of 5 g/l VOC.

Usage and Application
Application/Use
  • The surface has to be clean, dry and free of dust and grease.
  • Remove grease, dirt and other contaminants with an appropriate detergent.
  • Processing temperature (including drying) above + 8°C. Wood humidity < 18%. Air humidity < 60%.
  • Can be painted over after approximately 8 hours. Final hardness is reached after 10 days. Handle with care during this period. Drying happens by oxidation accompanied by a characteristic odor, so ventilate well during drying.
  • Drying takes at least 8-12 hours (depending on weather). Avoid exposure to moisture during this period.
  • Stir contents well before and during use.
  • Works differently depending on surface characteristics. Apply a trial coat first.

Apply Anti-Slip using a block brush or a foam roller.
