Usage and Application
Application/Use
  • The wooden substrate has to be clean, dry and free of dust and grease.
  • Treat softwood (risk of fungi) in exteriors with an appropriate impregnation primer before applying the first coat.
  • Processing temperature (including drying) above + 8°C. Wood humidity < 18%. Air humidity < 60%.
  • Can be painted over after approximately 8 hours. Final hardness is reached after 10 days.
  • Drying takes at least 8-12 hours (depending on weather). Avoid exposure to moisture during this period.
  • Stir contents well before and during use.
  • Works differently depending on surface characteristics. Apply a trial coat first.
  • Appears milky, but is transparent when dry.
  • If possible, apply once on all sides before assembly.

Always apply plenty of Deck & Cladding Oil for Larch and Cedar two to three times to dry wood by brush, spray nozzle, or roller (comply with minimal consumption). Apply to end grain until it stops absorbing. We recommend renewal as needed (once a year). For a colorful coat, first apply a pigmented product and then Deck & Cladding Oil for Larch and Cedar.
