12 Responsible Consumption and Production

Ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns.

For us, sustainability means not causing any damage along the entire value chain (see also PNZ Principle #2). That is why sustainable consumption and production methods are among the core elements of our sustainability strategy, alongside climate protection. We want to guarantee this in particular with:

  1. The best, regional, natural raw materials
  2. A clear focus on durability, health and ease of use
  3. Producing as gently, energy-saving and CO2-neutral as possible
  4. Forward-looking and cautious strategy development, also within the framework of our ISO 14001 management system
  5. Our particularly eco-friendly packaging (see also the Sustainability Report)
  6. Recycling the waste materials we produce
  7. Involvement of our suppliers through a binding code of conduct
  8. Disclosure of all ingredients used by us or contained in our products (full declaration)
  9. We support various movements in the field of sustainability, from Zero-Waste to Fridays for Future

We support this goal and and have analyzed the corresponding starting points and impact and have structurally aligned our business model accordingly. An advanced risk analysis couldn't identify any immediate risks originating form us.
