Our company is located in the middle of the Altmühltal Nature Park in Kipfenberg, the geographical centre of Bavaria. This location is one of our great advantages and at the same time an obligation to deal with our environment in a responsible manner.

1. We believe in wood as a very sustainable and beautiful material. To ensure that it remains durable, we make products that optimally protect and preserve it.
2. We are convinced that longevity is the best environmental protection.
3. We have not used palm oil since we have seen for ourselves the damage caused by the extensive palm oil plantation economy in Borneo. There are very good technical alternatives (from soybeans from Germany to rapeseed oil from a village 20km away from Kipfenberg).
4. We regularly analyse our environmental footprint and make sure that our production site or our products do not pose a threat to nature.
5. In future we will only order recycled paper for our printed materials.
6. The recycling share of our product and shipping packaging is approx. 90%.
7. We make sure that our partners only use wood from certified cultivation.
8. We try to make our infrastructure more and more environmentally friendly (from toilet flushing to using rainwater for irrigation of our gardens).
9. We make sure that our suppliers also comply with strict environmental standards, both in Germany and abroad.
10. We support nature conservation groups and interest groups.

We support this goal and and have analyzed the corresponding starting points and impact and have structurally aligned our business model accordingly. An advanced risk analysis couldn't identify any immediate risks originating form us.
