4 Quality Education

Ensuring inclusive, fair and high-quality education and supporting the life-long opportunity for learning for all.

Education is key.

  1. We support the personal, vocational and professional further education for all employees, also through work time models and paid leave.
  2. As an apprenticing company for administrative and productive areas we can take a look back at 10 years of successful apprenticeships, in which our trainees have always performed outstandingly and excellently.
  3. Today more than 90% of young people we have ever trained still work with us in permanent positions.
  4. We are more than happy to emplay people with migrant backgrounds as long as they have sufficient knowledge in the German language (we work with liquid raw materials and chemicals, so understanding the processing guidelines is absolutely necessary).
  5. Naturally, child labour is strictly forbidden and we also ensure that no such thing happens in our supply chain.
  6. We pay living wages, also for foreign workers.
  7. We have our own feedback policy for employees. One talk a year is not enough, feedback is a continous process for us.
  8. Our recruitment and employment are fully non-discriminatory.
  9. We publish our support for general education and also support charitable projects in this area (for example formal education in Nepal).

We support this goal and and have analyzed the corresponding starting points and impact and have structurally aligned our business model accordingly. An advanced risk analysis couldn't identify any immediate risks originating form us.
