Environmental protection is one of the core objectives of our company and the use of renewable energies is an important part of it.

1. We only use electricity from renewable energy sources at our production site.
2. We strive to use all possible energy saving measures even when using renewable energies and have already implemented a large number of methods to this end (conversion to LED lighting, timers, intelligent heating thermostats, window shading, etc.) This has enabled us to reduce our adjusted energy consumption (per kg produced) by 6% last year.
3. Our CO2 footprint, prevention measures and the development over the years are reported annually in our sustainability report.
4. Our products and their CO2-neutral production contribute to the reduction of a negative impact in the production processes (especially our product FD 1-30)
5. We directly and indirectly support a number of initiatives that deal with the careful use of energy resources.

We support this goal and and have analyzed the corresponding starting points and impact and have structurally aligned our business model accordingly. An advanced risk analysis couldn't identify any immediate risks originating form us. We will be addressing the issues of electromobility and (in conjunction with our landlord) improving building standards in particular in the coming year. An improved boiler has already been installed.
