Properties:
PNZ-WECHSELFARBE (PNZ-COLOUR-CHANGE) is used brighten up dark and weathered
woods or as a restoring coat to give wood a fresh, shiny, light tint.
PNZ-WECHSELFARBE is a weatherproof, strongly water repellent and environmentally-friendly
coat with high UV stability and extreme durability.
Manufactured with natural oils: Solvent-free, non-drip, open-pored, moisture
regulating and odourless.
Areas of use:
PNZ-WECHSELFARBE covers dark, weathered wooden surfaces.
A subsequent coat of PNZ-HOLZ-LASUR, lösemittelfrei (PNZ-WOOD-VARNISH,
solvent-free) gives the impression of freshly varnished wood.
For all interior and exterior wood, such as windows, shutters, fascia boards,
trelliswork, doors, fences, balconies, tongue and groove boards, greenhouses,
garage doors as well as beehives.
Usage:
Brush off weathered or dark wood. Thoroughly remove fungi and algae. The surface
must be clean, dry, free of grease and sound. Loose coats must be completely
removed. Pretreat with PNZ-IMPRÄGNIER-GRUND (PNZ-IMPREGNATION-PRIMER) if
there exists the danger of fungus. Apply PNZ-WECHSELFARBE up to three times
liberally by brush, roller or spray (also airless). An even, covering coat must
be obtained. In case of penetration of wood components or previous oily coats
such as carbolineum or similar (where the PNZ-WECHSELFARBE coat may be patchy),
PNZ-ISOLIERGRUND (PNZ-BARRIER-PRIMER) should be precoated or applied between
coats, followed by PNZ-WECHSELFARBE again.
Application temperature should be above +8°C.
Drying time:
Approx. 8-12 hours, to a blocking surface, depending on temperature and humidity.
Dust dry after 1 hour. Recoat after approx. 2-4 hours even in a dry state. The
drying time may be prolonged under damp, cold weather conditions or high humidity.
Coverage:
1 litre for approx. 10 m2 per coat.
Storage:
Cool, but frost-free. Ensure can is well closed.
Cleaning:
Clean tools with soap and water immediately after use.
Contents:
Purified natural oils, soya and linseed oil, damar, methylcellulose, titan white,
iron oxide pigments, zirconium and cobalt soaps.
Container sizes:
0.75 litres, 2.5 litres, 10 litres and larger.
