Product informations - PNZ-COLOUR-OIL
For inside and outside
Naturally based, non-classified toxicity, coloured wood oil - solvent-free
Properties:
PNZ-COLOR-Öl (PNZ-COLOUR-OIL) is based on a traditional formula dating back many decades and is used as a primer oil with excellent deep penetration for colouring all types of wood. Combined colouring and oiling simplifies priming of wooden floors into a single job.
Areas of use:
To colour and enhance domestic and exotic woods as an initial treatment or for renovation, especially for wooden floors and furniture. Solvent-free oil-based.
Usage:
Apply PNZ-COLOR-Öl thinly after at least one thorough fine sanding with a 180 grain by brush, roller or spraying onto a clean, dry and untreated surface. For woods rich in intrinsic substances, such as oak, doussie, merbau, cork, protrusion of colour from these substances may occur with light coats; these can be isolated with PNZ-ISOLIERGRUND (PNZ-BARRIER-PRIMER). Apply over a trial area in all cases. It may be necessary to smooth over the surface with a beige pad and single disc polisher after drying and subsequently apply colourless PNZ-HARTWACHSÖL (PNZ-HARD-WAX-OIL), PNZ-HIGH-SOLID-ÖLWACHS (PNZ-HIGH-SOLID-OIL-WAX), PNZ-INDUSTRIEHARTÖL (PNZ-INDUSTRIAL-OIL) or PNZ-OBJEKTÖL (PNZ-OBJECT-OIL) according to the manufacturer's specifications for surface enhancement of floors or furniture, as protection against pigment abrasion for interiors. This will improve durability. For outside, we recommend colourless PNZ-AUSSENÖL natur (PNZ-EXTERIOR-OIL natural) for the final coat against pigment abrasion: Drying time approx. 12-24 hours, dependent on humidity and temperature. Application temperature above 8°C, wood moisture below 18%.
Coverage:
Approx. 100 ml per m² per coat. These specifications are intended as guidelines. The precise amount depends on the wood type and colour intensity and must be ascertained by testing.
Storage:
Cool and frost-free, seal can tightly.
Cleaning:
Clean tools with soapy water or PNZ-SPEZIALVERDÜNNUNG (PNZ-SPECIAL-THINNER).
