Ready-to-use, aqueous single component sealer
Properties:
PNZ-FUSSBODENLACK (PNZ-FLOOR-VARNISH) is low toxicity, has little odour and is kind to the environment. PNZ-FUSSBODENLACK is hard wearing as a result of its high-quality polyurethane components and resistant against water and many household chemicals, assuming they are removed promptly.
PNZ-FUSSBODENLACK serves to protect and enhance wood.
Areas of use:
PNZ-FUSSBODENLACK is to be used for parquet and wooden floors, furniture, panelling, wooden ceilings and stairs. The potential adhesive affect along edges must be taken into account. Only of limited suitability for exotic woods (with a low oil content).
Usage:
Stir well before every use! The surface must be clean and free of residues!
PNZ-FUSSBODENLACK as a primer:
Apply 2 x with a stopping knife or 1 x rolled or brushed on (do not subsequently sand).
2 applications by roller or brush. Sand lightly before the last application. (150 grain)
When applying PNZ-FUSSBODENLACK, the room or surface temperature should not fall below + 15°C.
The first coat should be applied no earlier than 14 days after sealing.
Priming with PNZ-FUSSBODENLACK.
Drying time: after the 1st trowel application approx. 30 mins., after the 2nd trowel application approx. 1 hr., after rolling or brushing approx. 2?4 hrs., after each covering application approx. 2?4 hrs.
May be walked upon with caution after approx. 48 hrs. and fully resilient after approx. 10 days. The stated drying times are based on 60-65% relative humidity and 18-20°C room temperature. Drying is accelerated by good ventilation (no draught). Resealing is possible at any time ? also on other varnished surfaces. The precondition is good drying of the presealant, intense cleaning and thorough sanding. Application as stated.
Mop with PNZ-HOLZBODEN-SEIFE (PNZ WOODEN-FLOOR-SOAP), from time to time maintain with PNZ-BODEN-GLANZ (PNZ-FLOOR-SHINE) or PNZ-BIO-FUSSBODENWACHS (PNZ-BIO-FLOOR-WAX).
It has different effects on different surfaces. Trial coats are therefore essential.
Coverage:
Using a trowel approx. 50-70 g/m2, rolling or by brush approx. 100-150 g/m2 per coat. Total coat: approx 350 g/m2.
Storage:
Store and transport above +6°C (ideally 10°C to 15°C). Opened containers should be well closed and used promptly.
Cleaning:
Wash tools carefully with water immediately after use.
Note:
When using several containers with different lot numbers, they should be mixed together in a large container!
Container sizes:
0.75 litres, 2.5 litres, 10 litres, 30 litres and larger.
