Product informations - PNZ-WOOD-PROTECTION-VARNISH
Properties:
PNZ-HOLZSCHUTZ-LASUR (PNZ-WOOD-PROTECTION-VARNISH) is a transparent, water repellent,
open-pored, UV-proof exterior wood coating with preventative protection against
mould fungus and blue mould, according to EN 152. Excellent conserving weather
protection with good penetration properties, odourless and easy to use.
Areas of use:
For all exterior timbers subject to climatic weathering, such as log cabins,
fascia boards, fences, balcony panelling, windows, garden sheds, wooden grates,
garage doors, palisades etc.
Usage:
As a fresh application, brush or roll on 2-3 times, can also be applied mechanically
(e.g. with a PNZ Applicator) or dipped. Wood must be clean, grease and frost-free
and dry (max. wood moisture 18%). Stir contents well, apply 1st coat on all
sides before assembly if possible, allow at least 12 hours drying time, then
a second or even a third coat over the visible area as described. Renovation
application: Remove old coats if unsound. Clean sound and supporting surfaces
and apply PNZ-HOLZSCHUTZ-LASUR 1-2 times as described. Application temperature
should be above 8°C.
Coverage:
1 litre for approx. 15 m2 per coat, depending on whether the wood is smooth
or rough sawn.
Storage:
Cool and frost-free, reseal opened containers firmly.
Cleaning:
Clean tools with PNZ Special Thinner or white spirit.
Colours:
Colourless, white, pine, cedar, oak, rosewood, rustical
All colours may be mixed with one another.
Note:
Only for exterior use. When using several containers with different lot numbers,
they should be mixed together in a large container!
Contents:
Dearomatised hydrocarbons, alkyd resin based on natural oils, active compounds,
pigments, dryer additives
Container sizes:
0.75 litres, 2.5 litres, 10 litres, 30 litres and larger.
