Properties:
PNZ-ARBEITSPLATTENÖL (PNZ-WORKTOP-OIL), Colourless and White is open-pored, moisture regulating, has high covering power and good penetration. It gives wood high-quality surface protection and is water and dirt-retardant.

Areas of use:
For all interior rough and caustic-treated woods.

Usage:
The untreated wood must be clean, free of grease and resin and finely sanded, max. wood moisture 14%. Oil and room temperature must be at least 18°C, max. humidity 60%. Wood rich in resin should be brushed off with PNZ-GRUNDREIN (PNZ-DEEP-CLEAN) and allowed to dry for at least 12 hours.
Please note: Solid, composite and veneered woods absorb the oil differently, which may lead to colour differences between them. Oil a test piece!
IMPORTANT! Stir and shake white PNZ-ARBEITSPLATTENÖL well. Apply the worktop oil with an oil roller or brush wet-on-wet and repeat rolling until the entire surface remains wet and the wood no longer absorbs oil (up to 60 minutes depending on the type of wood). Then rub in excess oil with a beige PNZ-PAD or cotton cloth until no more remains.
There must be no shiny patches or oil splashes on the entire surface; it must appear dry. Polish the wooden surface with a white PNZ-SUPER-PAD or cotton cloth after at least 24 hours drying time.
Clean with PNZ-HOLZBODENSEIFE (WOODEN-FLOOR-SOAP).
PNZ-ARBEITSPLATTENÖL can also be treated and cared for with PNZ-MÖBELWACHS (PNZ-FURNITURE-WAX). First application after 7 days! Unused oil can be used both undiluted and well measured as care oil as required.

Coverage:
Maple, birch, beech approx. 200ml/m2, two or three coats in intervals of 12 hours.
Oak, ash, larch approx. 100ml/m2 per coat,
pine, spruce, fir approx. 150ml/m2 per coat

Note:
Ensure good ventilation at all times (open doors).
Oxygen and temperature above 18 °C accelerate the drying process.
Drying time approx. 2-3 days.
Protect from water in this period! Do not use for at least 2 days, after which time the wood may be used with care. The longevity and preservation of value of oiled surfaces is strongly dependent on careful treatment in the first few days!

Contents:
Natural oils comprising: safflower, flax, poppy seed, nut, oilseed rape, soya, sunflower, isoaliphates. Worktop oil also includes titanium white. Calcium and cobalt are used as drying agents.
